    Hello TTs,

The season is winding down and spring is in the air! We will have 5 more team training sessions including our TT wrap up on Wednesday, March 21st. Currently Rhonda, Morgan, and Matt are working hard in Thunder Bay supporting the club at Nationals, and Nic has to travel back to Norway for a week of work. So this week you are lucky enough to have the one and only amazing Alaric looking after you all. If some parents are keen, we would take an extra hand tail gunning the group on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday.

For the TT wrap up party, we will have a fun little athlete/parent ski challenge and game afternoon. Then head into the BWTC for pot luck style dinner and little awards. If your last name starts with A-O bring Salad, P-Z bring Dessert, and the club will order some pizzas for a light main course.

    Training this week:
    Monday 12th 5:00-6:30
Skate ski at CNC. Don’t forget your drink belt. Biathletes who were racing in Hinton, have a rest tonight.

    Wednesday 14th 5:00-6:30
Classic ski at CNC. With the warm temperatures wax with Swix Universal klister. We all know it is sticky stuff, but it is good practice to ski with klister as many races that is the wax of the day. Also, the more you apply it and clean it off, the better you get at it, and the easier it is.

    SUNDAY 18th 10:00-Noon @ CNC
Well like clock work, when we plan a ski at Shark, the trails will not be groomed due to new fresh snow. Likely the travel will be quite poor as well. So the session has been moved to CNC. Meet at the teamroom with your skate skis for a fun rip around all our trails. Not bad though having our back up location being a world class facility…

    Monday 19th 5:00-6:30
Classic ski at CNC- Wax with Swix Universal Klister. We are into spring mode 🙂

    Wednesday 21st 5:00 – 7:00
TT Wrap Up Party. Skate Ski with all the parents and siblings invited, then a potluck supper and little awards in the BWTC. See details above. Meet at the teamroom.
