Most athletes don’t realize just how much support is needed to achieve their goals. But if you take a minute and think of all the people who support you, there is actually a long list. There are your parents who help prepare and organise camps and races, coaches who spend a lot of time making training plans, go out in the cold to train us and prep our skis and encourage us before races. Volunteers who get up really early on race day to set up the course and ensure that we have a good race. Team-mates who encourage you, and who we can learn from and friends and family who are always there to encourage you. All of these people do their best to ensure that we have a good race, camp or even just a training session.
So I would just like to say thank you to all those people because without you I probably would not still be skiing.
