Matt DeCarufelKeymasterHello Team,
Welcome to the new training season! Check your email for the season start update, but you are in the right place to kick off the new season of team training. Below is the summary of team training for May and June:
The new club registration will hopefully be open on May 1 to align the bookkeeping of the season and needs from Nordiq Alberta/ Nordiq Canada to set up the new season. Zone4 link will be posted here and shared via email. While you will not have registered for programing at the start of the week, please attend training for the days that fit with your program stream of choice. Link U16 & U18 Streams for 2025-26 V2
Club registration is open! We are always learning and trying to improve, so it’s slightly different this year. You will have 2 zone4 registrations to fill out:- Step 1: membership (required for everyone (athletes, parents, siblings) participating in any club activity: training, racing, volunteering, skiing, tailgunning, race organizing, coaching etc. This is required by Nordiq Canada for insurance purposes.)
- Step 2: The program registration. This is where you will select your program stream. If you have any questions, reach out to your coach before completing this step.

Program registration: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=38630 Many athletes are heading to the Training Camp in Vernon, but if you are in town (or parents are here) the club is partnering with AFCA for the Equinox run May 10. If you can log at least 5 runs prior to the event, this can be a fun kick off and that little bit of running will help you to be less sore after the race/reduce chance of injury. We need volunteers as well to make the event happen. This time will count toward your volunteer bond.
