    Hello Track Attack’ers

Brave racing out there today! Many great experiences to learn from and awesome effort giving your best. Mass start races can be quite chaotic, but many were able to stay calm through the storm. Bravo!

Sunday will be a bit more simple with an interval start skate race. It is you and the clock out there, so be sure you focus on yourself throughout our warm up to get in a good mindset for the race.

Weather: -12 overnight with a high of -9 mid day. Partly cloudy/chance of flurries.

Start lists are posted on Zone4 with 15 second interval starts all day.

    Drop off times
U12 Boys and Girls: Arrive at 11:10 and meet Rachel and Hugh at the Wax Room #2 in the Biathlon
U10 Boys and Girls: Arrive at 12:00 and meet Sara at Wax Room #2 in the Biathlon

    Start times:
U12 Boys- first CNSC starter 12:12
U12 Girls- first CNSC starter 12:34
U10 Boys: first CNSC starter 13:00
U10 Girls: first CNSC starter 13:03

    Glide Wax
    The glide wax recommendation is:
Saturday- CH6 (PS6) or Ulla Purple Black
Sunday- CH4 (PS4) or Ulla Blue
Glide waxing is not required and will not effect racing outcomes at the Track Attack age.

An interval start race is a chance to see how hard you can push yourself and challenge yourself to get deep in that pain cave to leave everything on the course. “Winning doesn’t always mean getting first place; it means getting the best out of yourself.” Meb Keflezighi
