Hello Team,
Great work to all out in Kimberley. Those who did the double header of Grand Prairie/ Bozeman and Kimberley, that was a SOLID chunk of racing. You should be tired, but you built some amazing fitness over that racing block and your body will appreciate it come Nationals!
The name of the game this week is recovery. A bit lighter for team training, and not a lot of expectation for additional OYO training.

Tuesday(4) Rest (Jackrabbits Cancelled due to cold)
Wednesday(5)
4:45-6:15 Classic Intensity Z5. With the cold just departing, skating will be pretty squeaky still, so classic will feel much better. Also, its good to continue our focus on stellar technique, especially in striding. Coaches will be there at 4:45, have a 30 min warm up rip with you around the Banff loop, then we will meet in the XC stadium at 5:15. If you are late, ski the banff loop clockwise (up 2 bridge hill) and you’ll meet the group.
Thursday(6)
4:45-6:15 Skate technique. Coaches will roll out with you at 4:45, then meet back in the XC Stadium at 5:00. Technique changes and hitting our tempo sweet spots will be the name of the game tonight.
Saturday(8)
9:00-12:00 Combo distance day at CNC. Start with Classic for 2hr, then wrap up with skate for 1hr. You are welcome to drop gear in the teamroom. Bring 2 bars (or equivalent snack), and some protein/carb for right after training to maximize that 20 min window.
