    Hello TTs,

Good skiing this weekend.  Waxing around zero degrees can be tricky, and a lot of things can work well enough for a training session, but it won’t feel perfect.  It is good practice to ski on slippery skis sometimes. I will try to include wax recommendations, but with ever changing forecasts, it can be tricky.  When in doubt, check out the waxing guide.

    Training this week:

    Monday(7) Classic @ CNC

5:00-6:30 We will be working on herring bone tonight as we coaches noticed in Red Deer, we need some work.  With the temperature never dropping below freezing last night you will need to wax with universal klister today.  The best way to improve is by practicing, and we can improve our skiing on klister.

    Tuesday(8) Skate @ CNC

5:00-6:30 Tonight will be a plethora of balance challenges, 1 skate technique, and some little games to wrap up.

    Thursday(10) Biathlon @ CNC

    4:45-6:15 Biathlon training

    Saturday(12) Skate @ CNC

12:30-2:30 Primarily distance today, but a mix of drills to keep it exciting.
