    Hello TTs,

I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday break full of fun activity, good food, and hours of sleep. We are jumping into the new year with lots of exciting activities coming your way.

    Holiday Training Log Challenge:
Bring your completed sheets to training Monday or Wednesday this week so we can have a read through and see all the great stuff you did over the break. Some little prizes to be awarded on Wednesday, Jan 16 at training.

    Kimberley Kootenay Cup Jan 12/13:
Details were shared by Matt via email. Let me know if you didn’t receive it and can send it again. Additional details are available on the Kimberley Nordic Website: https://www.kimberleynordic.org/single-post/2018/12/17/Kootenay-Cup-Volunteers-Needed-Jan-12-13th

    AB Cup 3 & 4 Jan 19/20:
Our next AB Cup is just around the corner here at the Nordic Centre, hosted by Foothills Nordic. Please sign up on the club spreadsheet so we know how many skis we will be waxing: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-iwvXKnzDyoLd2Xe2hHOxOuYiugBCXU5fpQg-IbYAzs/edit#gid=0

Details for the event can be found here: https://foothillsnordic.ca/races/alberta-cup-3-4/
    Registration Closes: Jan 15, 23:59 MT https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=19740

    Nipika Loppet Jan 26/27:
The Nipika Loppet is a fun, relaxed race around the rolling trails of Nipika, 3KM for Midgets. It is a lot of racing to do 3 weekends in a row, but if you only race Kimberley or the AB Cup, this is a good race opportunity to get a race in. It is easy to just drive over for the day to do one of the race days: Classic Saturday and Skate on Sunday. Please sign up by JAN 10 on the club sign up sheet if you are interested in doing this race: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-iwvXKnzDyoLd2Xe2hHOxOuYiugBCXU5fpQg-IbYAzs/edit#gid=0

Final reminder, after a race weekend, you will not have training on the Monday so that you can recover. Take that time to get homework done and get to bed early so you stay healthy.

    Team Training This Week:

    Monday 7th @ CNC
Skate ski focusing on offset technique. Meet at the teamroom. Don’t forget your training log sheets from the holidays.

    Wednesday 9th @ CNC
Skate ski focusing on 2 skate and agility. Get ready to go fast! We will also work on race warm ups. Be sure to have a watch with a stop watch function.

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th Kimberley Kootenay Cup
    No team training in Canmore
