Matt DeCarufelKeymasterHello Team,
As half of the team wraps up the Haig Glacier camp, our second half is still working hard down in town.
U18s: if you are interested in the club’s spring Euro Trip, we would love to know a yes or a no to help with preliminary planning. Not a firm commitment yet, but to give us a ball park idea. Link: camp/race sheet

9:00-10:30 On foot agility to start, then wrapping up in the gym. Please bring your clean indoor shoes. There have been a few dirty outdoor shoes coming into the gym which is not allowed. Heidi will be there to lead you all. Meet in front of the BWTC.Tuesday(21)
Grotto/Rundle/Cascade
9:00-11:00 Distance Skate rollerski with some good no pole work blocks. Meet at the teamroom.Wednesday(22)– No team training
Thursday(23)
Grotto/Rundle/Cascade
9:00-10:30 Z7 INTENSITIES!!! The day has come for our classic post Haig intensities- running with poles up the Wall. No technique, just pure hard effort using every thing we can. It is one of the 3 times a year we really open it up for a max effort intensity session. I recommend a light breakfast and having it finished by 7:30am at the latest. We will do a full warm up as a team. Meet at the teamroom- water, running shoes, ski striding poles. **If you use an inhaler, take it this morning, and bring it in your drink belt/running vest**Hey everyone,
Plan A: If the sky is clear and the AQI is 90 or below, we’ll stick with our regular training plan.
Plan B: If the AQI is 91 or higher, we’ll move indoors and do our intensity session in the Lab downstairs from the Nordiq Canada office. I’ve booked the space for 2 hours. This is not in the regular gym, this is the Lab!
Please warm up and cool down on your own. We’ll rotate athletes through the treadmills in 30-minute blocks (6 athletes per block).
Make sure you’re fully warmed up and ready to start your first interval at the beginning of your selected 30-minute time slot.
Please sign up for a time here:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BHW_ElpKQGbSwT1XZ13sAUVAovajTRCgtxTxmoF7K9w/edit?gid=0#gid=0
Thanks!
