    Hello T2s,

Big fun week coming at you for ski training.  We will have the STUR on Thursday and the T2 mini home camp over the weekend.

For summer training, after more discussion with many families, the earlier option will allow for the most athletes to attend due to other summer actitivits.  So, Summer training will be on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30.  Check right here on the forum for details for each day’s session.

Training this week (Weather Forecast and Radar looks good. We will ride as planned.):

Thursday(17) STUR @ Holiday Inn Parking Lot

4:45-5:45  To fit in with the LC athletes we will be starting a little earlier than usual.  The first T2 will be starting their STUR at about 5:10.  Meet at the usual corner of the parking lot, we will get out for a warm up together and then give a solid run up the 1km path.

Times from today are available here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uLdIjXzajAkzaT6ODzapImHuZ6_XOz2MTBbHGdR-sKo/edit#gid=178661178

Historical times are available here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kUt711mn2BsMkVfC3v6yUA1VnjLkc0nxb7nogFOovCI/edit#gid=0

    Saturday(19) Hike @ Grassi Nub

9:00-12:00 Meet at the SE end of Peaks of Grassi by the highline trail access

We will hike up the highline trail and connect to the Grassi Nub trail on up to the summit.  Pack about 2L of water, 2 bars/ snacks to eat, and a rain jacket.

Sunday(20) Road Bike @ The 1A- Riding as planned

8:30-11:00 Meet at the Fenlands (Banff’s preferred parking area when riding the 1A)

We will road bike out and back on the 1A starting with the road along Vermilion Lakes. Be sure to have 2 water bottles, 2 bars/ snacks to eat, and a rain jacket.  Mountain bikes are just fine if you don’t own a road bike, but be sure to pump your tires up nice and firm (~40psi).
