    Hi all,

Infomation for Westerns will be posted here throughout the weekend.

Three things to do before leaving,

    1. Read through the trip doc again: Here
    2. Ski Prep: Please glide wax, scrape, and brush all of your skis with PS6 and clean the grip zones before leaving Canmore. (Coaches will have 80+ pairs of skis to wax each race morning so if your skis are not scraped or cleaned well we will not have time to fix them before applying race wax. Do yourself a favor and prep them well.)
    3.  Join this Whatsapp Group for weekend communication

    Thursday – Skate Race Prep
3:30-5:00 – Meet at the venue for race prep and ski testing

    Friday – Individual Skate
    – Arrive 1.25 hours before race start and drop off race skis at tent
    – Pick up your own bib and chip from the bib tent
    –  Drop your classic skis for Saturday off at the tent after your race tomorrow
    – Start list is on Zone4

Great work on the first day of racing! Keep up good recovery and nutrition!

    Saturday – Classic Sprints
    – Drop off your classic skis 2 hours prior to race (we have over 80 pairs of skis to classic wax so its important we have these on time)

    – Athlete arrival 1.25 hours before race start
    – Pick up your own bib and chip from the tent. You will keep the bib between your qualifer and heats so don’t lost it!
    – Let numbers need to be on your left lef for the heats
    – Look Here for heat times, this is a live document so I do not want to type out the times in case things change

    – You will have time to go “home” before the heats for a little rest which would be a good idea
    – Leave your skis at the tent after your race with ski ties. If you are keen to help clean the grip zone that would be great!

    Lastly, have fun!

    Sunday – Classic Mass Start
    –
Arrive 1.25 hours before race start
pick up bib in tent and chip in start area

Leave it all out there tomorrow! Pick a fast pack and try your best to hold on. Have fun!

    Weekend Challenges!
    – Meet a new friend from a different team (introduce him/her to us for extra brownie points)
    – Learn something new about one of your teammates
    – Thank a volunteer as least once a day
    – Have fun!!
