    Hi team Headlamp

With Frozen Thunder in rough shape and the range officially closed due to unsafe snow/ice, we’re making some adjustments to keep everything safe, smooth, and productive – even with headlamps

Thank you all for rolling with these constant early-season curveballs, flexibility is a superpower in November 👊

    *Note for Biathletes from Caitlin.
    Calforex #1 : Trip Doc
Registration and all information in the document. Registration deadline is Nov 23rd.
Everyone do your snow dances! We either need a big dump of snow or cold temps for snow making for the Calforex to be possible. I would suggest waiting to as close to the registration deadline as possible.

    Here’s the plan!

    🏃 Monday (Nov 17) — Run Session

5:00–6:30 pm – Meet at Centennial Park (LGMS)
    Coaches: Trevor, Leah, Michel

    • Fun run with the U16/U18 athletes

    • Amazing Race Canmore!

    💪 Headlamp day…. I mean Tuesday (Nov 18) — Strength & Agility & Headlamps

    5:00–6:30 pm – Teamroom with a Headlamp
Coaches: Caitlin, Aislin, special guest: HEADLAMP

    • A mix of strength, coordination, and agility

    • Building the athletic base while we wait for better ski conditions

    🎯 Thursday (Nov 20) — Biathlon (Eco-Aims)

    4:45–6:15 pm – Teamroom
    Coaches: Trevor, Kerstin

    • With the range closed, we’ll be using Eco-Aim Rifles – Update! Range is open for use with specific rules:

      • Access will be from the west (left) side ONLY. There can be no crossing of the stadium. Users will have to ski or walk to the west/left side of the firing line (Lane 30). Please follow the signage and trail crossings. If dirt is tracked across the remaining snow, the range will be closed.
      • Users must access cautiously and watch for skiers. Any incidents of conflict with skiers or damage to the remaining snow will result in closing of the range again.
      • There may not be power Thursday to the coaches rail and potentially to the targets. Also, there may not be power to the target lights for evening use. This situation may change over the next day or two
    • Focus: Trigger control, fine aiming, follow-through, and calm shooting habits

    • Productive, low-stress work leading into the weekend

Saturday (Nov 22) — Skate Ski – Run combo!

    1:00–3:00 pm
    Coaches: Trevor, Michel

    • 1hr 15 min skate ski
    • 45 min run (make sure you have running shoes with you!)

Thanks everyone for staying adaptable — November always brings a bit of chaos, but we’ll keep the training quality high no matter what the weather throws at us.

    See you out there!
