    Hello Biathlete’s

Nice to see people out racing the TT, nice work! This will we will be pulling it back a little to get some good recovery.

Clothing order deadline for the newly designed jacket and race suit is Thursday, November 6. See the email from Megan with full details, but here are quick links: Jakroo   Craft

Headlamp Season is upon us. You need a working headlamp at evening sessions basically until February.  It is DARK on frozen thunder and skiing at 40KM/HR without being able to see is very dangerous for you and other skiers. If you do not have a headlamp, you will need to stay under the lights and not be able to train with the team.

    Training this week:

    Monday(3) – Biathlon Intensity
    Grotto/Rundle/Cascade
    4:45-5:15 – Zero and warmup
5:15 – Regroup for Intensities. These will be long and steady skate intensities. 3-4 x8minutes Z5.

    Tuesday(4)
    Cascade
    5:00-6:00 Strength

    Wednesday(5) – Biathlon
    Grotto/Rundle/Cascade
4:45-6:45 Skate technique with some speeds.

    Thursday(6)
    Rundle/Cascade
4:45-6:45 Agility on foot and strength in the gym. U18 gym first, U16 outside first.

    Saturday(8) – No Baithlon
    Grotto/Rundle/Cascade
9:00-12:00 Long classic ski on Moraine Lake Road (pending conditions, TBC Thursday). Biathlon trials are happening on Saturday, so Frozen Thunder will be closed for that event.

*Biathlon trials are underway this week, races are Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The biathlon trails will be closed during these times. I know its during school but if anyone has a spare these will be good to watch!
