Matt DeCarufelKeymasterHello Team,
Great work out in Kimberley being adaptable to changing conditions, committing to activities to get the most out of them, and accomplishing a lot of great training. We will continue a bit of a push through this weekend and into next week with a good recovery planned over thanksgiving break. We know you are a bit tired, but still able to take on this training load.
Saturday’s team session will be a Bow Valley wide skate time trial put on by the Academy and Nordiq Alberta. The free registration deadline is Thursday night. So if you are able to attend, be sure to register by then. There are 2 time trial options: 10km starting at the bottom of Olympic drive then finishing with laps of the rollerski loop (U18+), and 6km all on the rollerski loop (open to all). Both are great options, but the 10km is significantly harder and will be with the senior athletes. Chat with your coach if you have questions, and choose the option that you feel you can bring your best performance to and get the most out of.
