The ski season is just around the corner, and to get you pumped up 3 big events this week:

Canmore Nordic’s Ski Swap
Consignment & Early Bird Tickets Saturday 9:00-Noon
Swap Sunday 9:00-Noon

The swap is a significant fundraiser for our club and also a place where athletes/families can find gear at a reasonable price! Pass the word to your neighbors!

Frozen Thunder is getting rolled out this week. We will get out for a couple of sessions on it, but not get too crazy. We have lots of time to ski, so no need to ski every session in October at this age. But, it is exciting and awesome to have this, so we will be skate skiing Next Monday (21), so be sure to get your gear ready.

Training this week:

Tuesday (15) *Biathlon* 5:00-6:45 @ CNC
Today we will work on sight picture. We will be doing some running combo as usual so please bring warm clothes & running shoes. *Note* we have to share lanes tonight with the LC group so we will have less lanes then usual & need to share.

Wednesday(16) 5:00-6:30 Ski Striding @ CNC
Today is XC Running zones. If you raced at zones, have a rest this evening. If you did not run at zones, come to training. We will be ski striding and working on technique tonight with a bit of speed work.

Saturday(19) 12:30-2:30 Run/Hike @ CNC
Meet at the teamroom for a run/hike adventure up around Grassie Lakes and through the woods. Remember your drink belt and a bar. We are meeting at CNC so you can be sure to drop off any equipment for the swap and pick up your early bird tickets.
