    Hello TTs,

What a great kick off to the fall season! Awesome to have you all out keen to work and ready to tackle some training.

We will have a parent meeting this Wednesday to provide more information about the program, present the race calendar, share expectations, talk about equipment, and answer any questions. To give those just entering TT a little more time to talk, we will have 2 start times:
    6:15- T1 Parent meeting starts
6:30- T2 Parents join. We should be wrapped up by 7:00pm
There will be handouts to help guide you.
Athletes are welcome to hang out in the back of the room during the meeting, we just ask they don’t make too much noise so we can get through everyting efficiently.
If you can not attend, you will need to talk with another parent to get the information.

    Training this week:

    Monday(16) 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
Skate Rollerskiing! We will get out and get those skiing skills honed in today with some technique and agility training. Everyone- bring your helmet, skate boots, skate poles, and gloves. T2s, you all should own skate rollerskis by now. T1s, if you selected to rent skis, the club skis are ready to go for you.

    Tuesday *Biathlon* (17) 5:00-6:45 @ CNC

First Biathlon Practice! Please remember to arrive 15minutes early to allow for rifle assignments & set up. For our first practice, we will be covering our safety and basic skills again to make sure we are on the same page, and then end with some games. Please come prepared with clothing for whatever weather we get! (It has been getting cold!)

    Wednesday(18) 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
Uphill Monitoring Run! Nothing to stress about, all we do is run up a hill as fast as you can for about 5 minutes. It is a great opportunity to learn about racing in a relaxed environment, challenge yourself against your personal best time, and get an amazing workout! Be sure to have a light snack (not a giant sandwich) at least 1.5hr before training.
Remember parent meeting starts at 6:15(T1) and 6:30(T2)

    Saturday(21) 12:30-3:30 @ Cougar Creek/Mount Lady MacDonald Trailhead
Today we will have a little hike up Lady MacDonald to the Heli Pad. Parents welcome to join in. Bring a snack, 1.5L Water, and a rain jacket (it is always colder up higher).
