Training June 9 – 15

    Hello team, I hope that everyone is recovered/rested and ready for some more training. Take Monday off and look under the TRAINING PLANS section for your training program. The June 9 – 15 week is the first testing week of the year.

    We will have 3 team training sessions this week:

    Tuesday, 10th: Uphill time trial, start warming up on your own at 4:30pm. The test will begin at the usual place at 5pm. More details will be given to you on Monday. Make sure you have sharp pole tips.

    Thursday, 12th: Double pole test and strength. Start warming up for the double pole test at 4:30pm, making sure you focus on your upper body including doing some stretches. The test will begin at 5pm. This will be followed by strength training in the gym (a new plan).

    Saturday, 14th: Either a track workout (8:45am) or on-snow skiing at Sunshine. Of course this is weather dependent. There is also a chance that the TC’s will ski on Sunday.
