Hello Team , we have the team sprints tomorrow. Let’s do our best and be proud to represent CNSC. It will be a great day I’m sure. 🙄 🙄 🙄

    It’s a long post, grab a snack!

    First:
The first start time is now 9am

    Weather:
Cold tonight will make the track firm, tomorrow will be sunny and a high of +6. More details here: http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/ab-3_metric_e.html

    Course/stadium:
You have all skied the courses today. Same plan for tomorrow. There will be 5 lanes at the start with 10 meters of mandatory double poling before starting to skate. The exchange zone will be set up as it was today. We recommend a left hand tag to the body as you practiced today. Be patient when waiting for a tag from your teammate. Remember the rules says that a tag is hand to body (trunk) – not hand to hand. All of you practiced very well today, just do the same thing tomorrow.

    Warm up area:
All other trails are fair game for warming up. Go on the Banff Trail or biathlon trails. Check your Training Peaks for a recommendation for a warm up.

    Schedule for Saturday:
Arrive the team room 1.25hrs before your start. Check in with a coach and grab your bib and transponders. We will ask you to hang out in the daylodge or BWTC as the wax room is busy and the air quality might not be great.

starting at 4:00pm: Sunday courses open for official training
5:00 – 5:30pm: Awards Ceremonies, Civic Centre. Come and cheer CNSC
About 8:15pm: New forum posting for tomorrow

Check your Training Peaks for details about each workout. You will find various recommendations such as warm up and what to do after the race.

We recommend you do a cool down on a stationary bike for 15min or running at the CNC. Bring the appropriate gear with you.

Make sure you bring recovery drink for after the race. A good recovery drink is also chocolate milk. Bring some other food also and some dry clothes to change into.

We might set up the TV and video of the race to look at in our office at the BWTC. Check in with Roddy after your race for a schedule. If we are really busy, we will look at the video on Monday.

Please sign in for the Crazyweed dinner on the doodle now as we need to pass on the numbers and meals to the restaurant on Saturday. Doodle here: http://doodle.com/p7w9qzmdqfu2zqzd

Remember the potluck at the Hicks’ on Sunday evening at 6pm.

Daylight savings on Saturday night. Move your clocks forward.

Congratulations for reading this far. You deserve an award!!! 😆 😆 😆 😆
