Training next week, camps update and meeting!

    Hi Team

    I will be sending out all your updated plans tomorrow! On top if that we will have a 20min info/meeting session (parents and athletes welcome) this Tuesday 6:30pm after practice. I’ll go over the exciting fall plan for each group as well as the start of the racing plan for the winter!! I will take questions at the end and stay around to answer questions after the meeting.

    Here is some info on next week and upcoming camps:

    Excite Camp: No go for LC/TC’s. The age target will be too young for y’all. We will have a regular training weekend instead.

    CWG Biathlon competition camp: Info is now out here: http://biathlon.ca/documents/CWGSeptemberCamp-2009.pdf

    LC/TC/TW who are 1990-1993 age can register. If you fall outside that range you can participate in the sunday time trial. Register here: http://biathlon.ca/documents/SummerBiathlonChallenge-2009_002.pdf

    Next weeks training:

    Sunday (6): TC/TW Z1 Rski CL combo session with sprints, check training plan. 8:30-10:00am

    Monday (7): TW Rski SK combo (Z1 for some, intensity for others, check plan). 8:30-10:30am

    Tuesday (8): LC/TC Z3 Rski SK combo. 4:30-6:30pm

    Wednesday (9):
    a.m. TW Rski SK ski strength combo. 8:30-10:00am

    p.m.
    TC Rski SK combo with Roddy 4:30-6:30pm
    LC physical training with XC/Alain. Meet at team room at 4:30pm for some running and ski striding technique and speed. You will be done at 6:00pm

    Thursday (10):
    a.m. TW, Rollerski trials, Sprint race
    Zero men: 8:30am, arrive no later than 8:00am
    Zero women: 10:30am, arrive no later than 10:00am

    p.m. TC/LC Rski CL combo with sprints. 4:30-6:30pm

    Friday (11):
    a.m. TW, Rollerski Trials, Pursuit race
    Zero men: 8:30am, arrive no later than 8:00am
    Zero women: 10:30am, arrive no later than 10:00am

    Saturday (12): TC/LC/Andrew. Z1-3 distance Rski SK at BVPP.

    Sunday (13):
    a.m. TW, Rollerski trials, Mass Start race
    Zero men: 8:30am, arrive no later than 8:00am
    Zero women: 10:30am, arrive no later than 10:00am

    That is the first week of fall training!

    Once you get your training plans tomorrow you will know how most of the fall will go, as well as know when all the camps will be (on the main YTP document).
