    Hello Team,

Happy August Long!  Hopefully you all are getting some fun summer time adventures and activities.

Camp/Race Sign Up We have lots of responses for our Fall Kimberley Camp, but pleas let us know if you are attending by August 15 so we can adjust the condo reservations. Also, U18s, we are keen to know how many of you are planning on the spring Euro Trip. Just an expression of interest to help us with preliminary planning.

We are on the rollercoaster of smoke for the next few weeks. Be patient and follow the guidelines to look after your lungs.  We will do our best to make calls for sessions 1 hour before start, but be ready to be flexible.

Thursday Adventures: To help with your planning of rides/bits to look forward to here’s our plan for the rest of the summer:
    Aug 6: Quait Valley/Yate’s Peak
Aug 13: Mt Allen from Ribbon Creak. Older athletes point to point finishing at Deadman’s Flats.
Aug 20: Rollerski Canmore to Banff Springs, Run back to CNC on the Riverside trail. U16 start at Carrot Creek. 1 parent volunteer needed to shuttle shoes/rollerskis.
Aug 27: Iceline Trail!  It is a long drive, but one of the most amazing trails in the area.

This week (as noted on the YTP) will be round 1 of our pacing project.  Lots of good work last year learning about pacing, but still some learning to be done.  Last year’s data is HERE We will collect lots of data in your time trial (7.5km skate) with your time and RPE at various points in the loop.
