    What a beautiful ski at Lake Louise on Saturday! It’s a winter wonderland out there will all trails skiable so get out there with your family if you have time!!

    This will be the final week of formal workouts before the New Year. Holiday workouts will be available to those in town but will occur in the mornings. A gentle reminder that dressing appropriately for the weather is a great way to save energy, please make sure you cover your head if it is below -5 OR snowing, the windchill is included in this temperature! There are a lot of options for toques so if you are always getting hot, perhaps trying a spandex toque, they are very comfortable and breathe well!

    Monday 18th 5 – 6:30pm
    Skate technique working on free skating and two skate techniques for when you’re going fast! Headlamps and drink belts essential.

    Tuesday 19th
    PARENT SPORT PSYCHOLOGY “Motivation to win in sport and in life” 6:30-8:00PM, BWTC

    Wednesday 20th 5 – 6:30pm
    Classic skills team challenge. 3 teams, 3 stations involving speed, agility and balance. Team with the most points get bragging rights!! Special guests Thomas Manktelow and Laurence Dumais (AWCA) are back to help out! Headlamps and drink belts essential.

    Thursday 21st
    No extra event tonight. We will organize some fun races with the Track Attack later in the season.

    Saturday 23rd
    NO WORKOUT – get into the Christmas spirit. Go for an outdoor adventure with family.

    Have a wonderful Christmas team and don’t forget to call up a buddy and get outside for a ski if you have time 🙂
