    Hi Team,

    Glide wax choice

    here is the glide wax recommendation for the skate and classic skis. Choose one of the following – if you dont have perf red, then use techno red, if you dont have techno red, then use swix ch7, if you dont have swix ch7, then use any glide wax you have at home for -5 degrees C.

    1- Solda performance Red

    2- Solda Techno red

    3- Swix CH7

    4- Any glide wax you have at home for -5 degree C

    ski prep

    Please wax, scrape and brush your skis before dropping them off at the team room.

    Ski drop off times

    Saturday
    1999-2000 birth years (Midgets) – 730am
    2001 birth year (minimidgets) – 9am

    What to do when you arrive at the Team Room

    1. check in with our Team Room Greeter – this will be a parent – either Jane, Deb, Jane, or Vicki
    2. the Team room Greeter will show you where to put your race skis and give you your race bib (put it on under your warm up clothing)
    3. meet your coaches for a warm up and race prep.

    What to bring

    – water, water bottle holster, snack/bar
    – warm up and race skis – if you dont have two pairs of skate skis for saturday, bring your classic skis for warm up.
    – poles, warm up clothing, race suit, club jacket
    – race plan that we worked on at thursday’s practice

    when to arrive at the Team Room
    – please be at the team room 75 minutes before your start.
    – start times will be posted on http://www.zone4.ca on friday evening – so please take a look
    – we do have some tentative start times (not official) for saturday so please confirm on friday evening on zone4
    1999-2000 birth years(Midgets) – 935am – arrive at team room at 8:20am
    2001 birth year (minimidgets) – 1140am – arrive at team room at 10:25am
