    Hi Team,

    I hope everyone had a great holiday!

    Well done to everyone who logged their kilometers skied during the holidays–this is an ideal time of year to get a volume block under your belts and top up your fitness for the next few months of racing. As of Sunday the group skied almost 4,500km! If you skied that as one massive relay you would almost get from Canmore to St. John’s!

    XC Westerns in now AB Cup3&4 and has been postponed to Jan 20/21

    It’s going to be cold this week! Please keep and eye on the forum and WhatsApp to keep updated on any training session changes or cancellations. The club cold weather guidelines can be found on the policies page: /about/policies/

    BVRS is going ahead on the 19th.  The second addition of the BVRS will be happening on Friday January 19th! Mark your calendars! This one will be hosted by Foothills, everyone is strongly encouraged to take part.     A Reminder for those that are coaching Jack Rabbits this starts this week on Tuesday!

    Training this week:

    Monday (8)
    4:45-6:45 Strength & Classic Ski. U18s in the gym first. Meet in the XC stadium.

    Wednesday (10)
    4:45-5:45 Classic with XC. See XC forum for details.

    Thursday (11)
    4:45-6:45 Strength in the BWTC gym.
    U18s at 4:45 and U16s at 5:45.
    Note if you are in the multi program and do not already have a gym membership you will need to purchase the $11 day pass and fill out the waivers online ahead of time. This will be a great chance for you to learn the strength workout so you can add into your routine at home!

    Saturday (13)
    9:00-11:00 Mobility & Core in the Haig Room. U18s at 9am and U16s at 10am.

    9:00-1:15 Individual Scatt sessions. Meet at the front door of the BiCan/Nordiq Canada offices (you can walk down to the rollerski treadmill hallway if the doors are unlocked). Signup here.

    Optional coach-athlete check-ins Saturday/Sunday
