    Hello Biathletes,

This week we have a typical week of summer training with a long run/hike on Thursday.  Be sure to check the forum before coming to training each day as we may have to adjust due to the wildfire smoke.  We will do our best to update at least 1 hour before training.

Next week (24-30) will have a reduced number of sessions due to the Talus camp (see email/trip doc from Matt) and the Nordiq Alberta Open camp (see email from Mark for details).

    Training this week:

    Monday(17)
    Primo/TTS-Dev
8:30-10:00 Scatt/run combo. No Scatt signup, everyone training at the same time.
    10:00-11:00 Strength

    Tuesday(18)
    Multi/Primo/TTS-Dev
    9:00-11:00 Shark shoot/run combo

    Wednesday(19)
    Multi/Primo/TTS-Dev
9:00-10:30 Skate Rollerski intensity at Bullseye efforts.  Meet in front of the BWTC

    Thursday(20)
    Multi/Primo/TTS-Dev
8:00-2:00 Big run/hike today up to Bourgeau Peak (older athletes) or Harvey Pass (younger athletes).  We will break into 4 groups at the start to allow everyone to go their correct pace, hike the uphill, and will plan to turn around accordingly to jog the downhill to return to the trailhead at 2pm. We will be out for 6 hours today, so pack 3L of water, a sandwich/substantial food (5 bars worth), rain jacket, rain pants, toque, buff, and gloves.  You only need to be caught in a hard summer rainstorm once to realize the importance of proper layer of clothing and how quickly you become VERY cold without it.

Meet at the Bourgeau Lake Trailhead ready to hike at 8am.
