Note from XC: This week wraps up our July training camp block! Lots of great training completed so far, well done. Looking down the road to August when we begin our regular summer training Monday-Thursday AM, we will have 4 Thursday Adventures this year for your long distance summer sessions. Just to help you with some planning to adjust work or start to organize rides. Times noted will be when the session starts/ends at the trailhead:
August 4- 9:00-12:00 Road Bike from Travel Alberta
August 11- 9:00-3:00 Run/Hike the Iceline Trail from Takakkaw Falls
August 18- 9:00-1:00 Run/Hike local peak from Canmore (exact peak TBC pending closures)
August 25- 9:00-1:00/2:00 Run/Hike from Arnica Lakes to Twin Lakes (16km)/ Red Earth Creek(27km)
Training this week:
WEDNESDAY(27) TTS Dev(Haig #1 Only)
8:00-9:30 CL Rollerski with Russell. Meet at the teamroom.
TTS Dev(Haig #1 only)
4:00-5:00 Strength with Chelsea @ BWTC
THURSDAY(28) Multi-Primo-TTS Dev 8:40-10:00 Ski Striding Intensity. Warm up on your own jogging in Z2 for 20 min, meet in the XC Stadium at 9:00. If you did Z7 intensities on the 21st, you will do Z6 intensity. If you were at the haig block #2 or missed last week’s intensity, you will do Z7. Eat a micro breakfast as you will be working hard today.
