June 17-23 – physical training

    Hello Team,

    I hope you all were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather over the weekend. Just a few items coming up this week:

    1) It is now required for all LCs to have a heart rate monitor at all team training sessions. T3s it is strongly encouraged.

    2) Bike Camp Participants- Tuesday, June 18 at 6:30pm we will be holding a mandatory safety meeting at the Bill Warren.

    3) The Canada Day Run is quickly approaching. If you want to save some cash, register for the 8km before June 23 at 11:59pm. https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=4940

    4) Please update your ilog.

    Team training this week:

    Tuesday, June 18 17:45-18:30: BEEP TEST and strength at the team room. This is a great test to find your VO2 Max and Max Heart Rate. Very useful for coaches and athletes to develop training zones. Bring your heart rate monitor, running shoes, and drink belt.

    Thursday, June 20 18:00-19:30: Z1 Run at the team room. It would be great if a few parents can come out and run with the team for this workout
