    Hello U16/U18 biathletes,

Great to have some clear skies again.  Let’s make the most of it while we can!  This week we will build back the volume; you’ve had some time to recover since the Vernon training camp and now we can get some hours in. When the smoke does return, be patient and look after your lungs.

To help with some future planning/ out of the ordinary training, we will be doing a joint session with Foothills Nordic on June 14 from 6pm-7pm at the Nakoda Elementary School Track.  We will be running a 3,000M on a proper rubber track!  This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself with a national standard test, and a tool we use to help calculate your training zones.  Be sure to get your heart rate monitors working smoothly by this date.
