    Hello Team,

    Welcome to race season! The coaches are all excited to see the work you’ve put in all spring, summer, and fall pay off.

    Continue to bring all your race skis into the teamroom for flex testing.  We have learned some new testing methods and are excited to learn about your skis.  Ensure they are CLEAN and all old lines removed. Write your Name and weight in KG on tape on the skis.

    There’s an upcoming webinar hosted by Nordiq Alberta and the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary called “Body Talks” that all athletes and families are welcome to attend. It takes two seconds to register, see the link below.

    Monday (20)

    Tuesday (21)
    4:45-6:45 Strength and skate ski.
    U18 in the gym first, U16 skiing first

    Wednesday (22)
    4:45-6:30 Shoot/skate ski combo. We will be joining XC for a bit today to go through some on-snow ski testing so you all can be confident with the testing process prior to your first races. Bring two pairs of skate skis if you have them (make sure they have the smae glide wax on!).

    Chelsea strength
    5:00-6:00 Women
    6:00-7:00 Men

    Calforex glide wax recommendation: Swix CH/PS/HS6 or Ulla purple-black.
