Congratulations on a superb camp! A lot of improvement made in great ski conditions at Lake Louise. We were super impressed with seeing all of you work hard on your technique over the three days, and ‘giver’ in the time trial on Sunday! Fluid intake may not have been great this weekend so make sure you drink lots of water this week and remember your drink bottle at school and workouts!

Monday 20th – NO WORKOUT – REST AFTER CAMP
Take a well earned rest! Use a few minutes that you would be a training to reflect on your time trial performance yesterday. Make a note in your training journal (note pads) of your warm up, how you felt, what you think you did well and where you could improve.

    Wednesday 22nd 5 – 6:30pm: @CNC
Skate ski working on ski specific strength with guest coaches Annika Hicks and Antione Hebert. Get ready for those legs to burn with some no poles skating! 🙂 Please make sure you have a headlamp, no headlamp no workout! Bring your drink belt too!

    Saturday 25th 10:00am-NOON: TBD
Due to the Calforex Cup and quickly melting snow here in town we will skate ski on the 1A in Lake Louise. Meet at the 1A parking lot. Directions here if you have not been to the 1A before: https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Canmore,+AB/51.4190145,-116.2040234/@51.4184667,-116.1904721,14z/data=!4m6!4m5!1m2!1m1!1s0x5370c59595456331:0x46b6315f9e1e692e!1m0!3e0
We will work on our offset and 1 skate a lot today. Don’t forget your change of clothes and lunch for after training.

Good luck to all biathletes competing at the Calforex Cup 25th & 26th. Please remember to let Allison and Matt know if you are attending the race!

SOLDA PERFORMANCE RED has arrived. You can purchase a block for $35 at the team room. This is the glide wax most often recommended by the Club for race preparation and ski care. We recommend that each family has a block of this at home.

The things that we share in this world are far more important than those that divide us.
