October Overview
Please get out all your child’s ski equipment!
It’s time to check to see how much your kids have grown and whether their equipment still fits. Please make sure all poles are the correct height, boots fit and skis are the right size and flex. Matt and Allison will be available for flex testing of skis until Monday 23rd October. If we get everything measured by this date it will make it easier for you to know what you are looking for at the Ski Swap on Sunday 29th!Monday 2nd 5 – 6:30pm: @ CNC
Classic Rollerskiing working on balance and agility.Wednesday 4th 5 – 6:30pm: @LGMS
Park strength and speed work. Includes strength testing.THANKSGIVING LONG WEEKEND – No sessions
Saturday 7th & Monday 9thWednesday 11th 5 – 6:30pm: On benchlands trails
Ski striding and trail running. Meet at Elizabeth Rummel schoolSaturday 14th NO WORKOUT – RELAYS TOMORROW
Sunday 15th 12 noon @ Confederation Park, Calgary
3 x 4km relay around Confederations Park, meet at 11am. The Club will enter the teams of the athletes, parents/families are welcome to enter their own teams (email Allison if you want an entry form). $6 per student runner, all runners must sign up on the Doodle by Sunday 8th Oct:

Hike up Lady MacDonald meeting at parking lot on near round-a-bout on Benchlands Trail and Elk Run Blvd. Parents, siblings, dogs welcome to join.
